═══ 1. Object of the Game ═══

On the left side of the main window you can see some mathematical equations, in 
which the digits are replaced by symbols. Each symbol accords to a different 
digit. It is your task to find out, which digit corresponds to which symbol. 

On the right side the ten symbols are listed together with a row of buttons 
labeled 0 to 9. With these buttons you can enter the solution you suggest. 
Click a button with the the right mouse-button to select a digit for a symbol. 
The symbol in the equation will be raplaced by this digit. 

The buttons also help you to solve the quiz. If you can exclude, that a symbol 
is not a specified digit, click on the corresponding key with the left 
mouse-button. The label of the key will be deleted. 

If you did a mistake, you can correct yourself by clicking a key a second time. 
The button is labeled again with the corresponding digit. If you want to 
rebuild a whole row, use the function in the Cheat-Menu. 

When you click the first button, the time-display in the upper left corner 
starts. If you solve the quiz quick enough, you can enter your name in the Hall 
of Fame. 


═══ 2. Game-Menu ═══

There are three Items in the Game-Menu: 

New 

starts a new quiz. 

Hall of Fame 

shows you the list if the 5 fastest players. 

Quit 

quits the game. 


═══ 3. Timelimit ═══

You can set your own timelimit for the solution. Click the menu Timelimit. 

A dialog-window with a slider is opened. You can enter the your timelimit by 
positioning the slider. Under the slider the selected timelimit in minutes is 
displayed. Set the slider to 0 minutes to play without timelimitation. 

Hit the OK-button to close the window. If you want to discard your selection 
hit the Cancel-button. 


═══ 4. Cheat-Menu ═══

You can choose between the following menu-items: 

rebuild Row 

If you did a mistake, you can rebuild a row of buttons. 

give Symbol 

give Digit 

If you did'nt find any further digit, you can get a hint by selecting these 
menuitems. I am sorry to increase your time by 3 minutes. 

solve Quiz 

The solution is shown. You cannot enter any more digits and your are not 
allowed to enter the Hall of Fame.
